Three Years, Countless Sunsets, and One Epic Party: Regatta Grove Celebrates Its Third Anniversary

Some places become restaurants. Others become traditions.

Over the past three years, Regatta Grove has transformed from an exciting new waterfront venue into one of Miami's favorite places to spend an afternoon, watch the sunset, and celebrate everything that makes

Coconut Grove special. Now, it's time to celebrate itself.

On Saturday, June 20, Regatta Grove is throwing an all-day anniversary bash that promises to be every bit as vibrant as the venue that inspired it. Beginning at 12 p.m. and continuing until close, guests can expect an unforgettable lineup of entertainment including an exhilarating waterjet show, mesmerizing fire dancers, live saxophone performances, Instagram-worthy photo opportunities, and plenty of surprises throughout the day. Those who RSVP in advance at RegattaGrove.com will even receive a complimentary Regatta Grove hat while supplies last.

But this isn't just another birthday party.

It's a celebration of how one waterfront destination managed to capture the spirit of Miami.

Bringing New Life to a Legendary Waterfront

When Miami natives and Breakwater Hospitality Group co-founders Alex Mantecon and Emi Guerra envisioned Regatta Grove in 2023, they weren't interested in creating another trendy hotspot destined to fade with the next season.

Instead, they looked backward.

Growing up, they spent time at beloved Grove landmarks like Scotty's Landing and the Chart House, places where locals gathered for good food, ocean breezes, and conversations that lasted well beyond sunset. Their goal was to honor that nostalgic waterfront lifestyle while introducing a fresh, modern experience for a new generation.

The result was Regatta Grove, a sprawling, nearly one-acre open-air destination inspired by Coconut Grove's sailing heritage and relaxed coastal charm.

Rather than walls and velvet ropes, the venue embraces bay views, fresh air, and the unmistakable energy that makes Miami unlike anywhere else.

More Than a Restaurant: It's Where

Miami Comes Together

Part of Regatta Grove's success is that it means something different to everyone. Families stop by during the day for lunch overlooking Biscayne Bay. Boaters dock nearby before grabbing cocktails with friends. Young professionals gather after work for happy hour.

Visitors discover one of Miami's best sunset views while locals return again and again because it simply feels like home.

It's rare for a hospitality concept to successfully bridge generations, but Regatta Grove has done exactly that, creating an atmosphere that's equally welcoming whether you're arriving in flip-flops after a day on the water or dressed for a lively night out.

In a city constantly chasing what's new, Regatta Grove has built something even more valuable: consistency.

A Party Worthy of the Occasion

Naturally, a venue known for throwing unforgettable events isn't going to celebrate quietly. The third anniversary promises a full day of waterfront entertainment with spectacular performances, immersive experiences, live music, and plenty of opportunities to toast three successful years along the bay.

Whether you're a longtime regular or have been looking for the perfect excuse to visit for the first time, this celebration offers the ideal opportunity to experience everything that has made Regatta Grove one of Miami's favorite gathering places.

Three Years Down. Countless More Sunsets Ahead.

Miami's hospitality scene is famously competitive. New venues arrive almost weekly, trends change overnight, and attention spans can be short. Yet three years later, Regatta Grove continues to thrive—not because it chased the latest trend, but because it embraced something timeless.

Waterfront views.

Great food and cocktails.

Live entertainment.

An easygoing atmosphere.

And a place where both locals and visitors can experience the laid-back magic that has always defined Coconut Grove.

As the music plays, the fire dancers light up the night, and another sunset settles over Biscayne Bay on June 20, Regatta Grove won't just be celebrating another year in business.

It'll be celebrating becoming one of Miami's newest classics.
