Miami has never needed much of an excuse to stay out after dark. But on September 25, one of the city’s most beautiful nights out won’t involve a velvet rope, rooftop table or South Beach dance floor.

Instead, we’re heading into the garden.

On Friday, September 25, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m., guests are invited to experience the Garden after dark, wandering through the landscape beneath the moon while discovering a lineup of experiences designed specifically for the evening.

Think less botanical field trip, more tropical date night with a celestial dress code.

General admission includes access to the Star Bar & Social Lounge, a Garden tram ride, a walking tour and an Astronomy Zone at Bailey Palm Glade, complete with telescope viewing.

Yes, there are telescopes.

Because apparently cocktails under the stars weren't romantic enough.

Sip, Stroll, Repeat

There is something inherently luxurious about slowing down. No traffic. No rushing to make a reservation. No checking whether your table is ready. Just grab a drink and wander.

Guests looking to turn their moonlight stroll into more of a tasting experience can add one of Fairchild's evening offerings, including three signature mini cocktails or a flight of three alcohol-free mini mocktails. And because nothing says romance quite like cheese eaten beneath a tropical canopy, there are also charcuterie experiences for two, including an option paired with Prosecco.

This is the moment to claim a quiet corner, pour the bubbles and pretend Miami has always been this peaceful.

Your Date Night Just Got an Upgrade

Paint the Night

For anyone who has ever looked at a beautiful Miami evening and thought, I should paint this, here's your chance.

Fairchild is offering Sketching & Painting Nocturnes by Moonlight, an add-on experience from 8:30 to 10 p.m. All experience levels are welcome, and supplies are included.

Translation: you don't actually need to know how to paint. Your palm tree can look like a broccoli stalk.

We won't judge.

The point is the experience: sitting outside beneath the moon, surrounded by tropical foliage, putting your phone away for a little while and creating something inspired by the landscape around you. Very main-character energy.

Or…Do Absolutely Nothing

If your ideal Friday night involves significantly less painting and significantly more lying down, Fairchild has thought of you too.

Guests can book an outdoor Breathwork & Sound Bath Ceremony, with sessions offered during the evening. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat and water bottle, with blankets, blocks or towels recommended for extra comfort.

Imagine it: the Garden is dark, the temperature has finally dropped, the palms are overhead and you're stretched out beneath the night sky listening to a sound bath.

General admission is $35 for adults, with painting, wellness, tasting, charcuterie and cocktail experiences available separately. Some experiences require advance time selection and quantities are limited.
