Monster Jam Sunrise 2026 is taking over Amerant Bank Arena August 22 and 23, bringing 12,000-pound trucks, gravity-defying stunts, head-to-head racing and enough engine-roaring excitement to make
your average Saturday afternoon feel very, very tame.
And yes, this is technically a family event. But once Grave Digger starts flying through the air,
don't be surprised if the adults are screaming louder than the kids.
Welcome to one of the wildest weekends of the South Florida summer.
This Is Not Your Average Day at the Arena
There are sporting events.
There are shows.
And then there are enormous trucks launching themselves into the air and somehow landing on four wheels.
Monster Jam falls firmly into that third category.
Inside Amerant Bank Arena, some of the world's top Monster Jam drivers will compete across three fan-favorite categories: Racing, 2 Wheel Skills and Freestyle.
Translation?
Expect speed. Expect wheelies. Expect trucks balancing in positions that don't seem physically possible. And definitely expect some serious big air.
Freestyle is where things get especially unpredictable. Drivers get their chance to show off their biggest tricks, wildest combinations and most spectacular saves while fans help score the action in real time.
No golf claps required here.
This is the place where your outside voice is not only acceptable, it's practically encouraged.
Meet the 12,000-Pound Superstars
The trucks may be massive, but controlling them requires incredible precision.
Monster Jam's male and female drivers are professional athletes who have mastered the art of racing, jumping, balancing and maneuvering machines weighing approximately 12,000 pounds.
And the Sunrise lineup brings some serious star power.
Fan favorite Grave Digger®, driven by Krysten Anderson, is scheduled to hit the dirt alongside Sparkle Smash® with Kayla Blood and El Toro Loco® with Armando Castro. Also scheduled to compete are JCB DIGatron™ with Tony Ochs, Classroom Crusher™ with Chuckie Pauken, Terminal Velocity with Jon Zimmer Jr., Jester with Matt Pagliarulo and Excaliber with Mike Pagliarulo.
Whether you're Team Grave Digger or simply rooting for whoever gets the most air, there's plenty to cheer about.

The Monster Jam Pit Party® gives fans an opportunity to see these enormous machines up close before watching them tear across the arena.
And trust us: seeing a 12,000-pound Monster Jam truck on Instagram and standing next to one are two completely different experiences.
Families can take photos, meet drivers and crews, collect autographs and enjoy activities before the main event. It's also a chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at the engineering that allows these trucks to survive jumps, crashes and stunts that would send your SUV straight to the mechanic.
The Pit Party runs Saturday from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM and Sunday from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
A Pit Party Pass and a ticket to the corresponding main event are required for entry.
