Miami is turning up the heat for Cinco De Mayo with some of the
most delicious bites, Margs, and specials of the week.
Celebrity Chef Ralph Pagano knows how to throw a party. What better day to do it than everyone’s favorite? This Cinco De Mayo, (Friday, May 5th, 2023) Chef is inviting all lovers of Mexican cuisine (and Tequila) to come out! The Cinco De Mayo fiesta will take place at all four of Pagano’s Naked Taco locations. For those who have been to Naked Taco in the past, or will visit for the first time, get ready for a high energy environment. Complete with live entertainment, food, and drink specials, and lots of tequila. Chef will be onsite and part of the festivities. Have the day off? Swing by the Coconut Creek location as Paul Castronovo will broadcast his iHeart radio show live, where one lucky winner will walk away with a $1000 bottle of Jose Cuervo Maestro Dobel tequila at 9:45AM! All other locations including Miami Beach (Dream Hotel) Boca Raton, and The Falls will open early so be sure to stop by! For Cinco de Mayo, Serena at Moxy South Beach will be adorned with festive decor transporting guests to a Mexican Village while enjoying the Don Fulano Serena Margarita for $10 along with High Noon Tequila Seltzer for $7 from 6 pm- Close. Nibble on an expansive menu featuring shareable dishes and a modern take on traditional Latin and Mexican cuisine on the open-air vibrant lushly planted rooftop bar and restaurant that channels the enchanting, alfresco patio dining of Oaxaca and Mexico City.
Close out the weekend on Monday, May 8th from 6-10 PM with Bazaar de Ocho, an industry-focused rooftop Mexican bazaar highlighting Mexican culture with a homemade tortilla station, mezcal tastings, traditional Mexican candy, live DJ, Henna tattoo artist, and specialty cocktails made with Dos Hombres tequila.
Carousel Club at Gulfstream Park
Hallandale Beach’s newest entertainment venue Carousel Club is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with PiñataPalooza! Nikki Beach
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo beachside with Nikki Beach’s Coastal Taco Platter ($55) featuring two of each of the three delicious sushi-inspired tacos including a Tuna Sushi Taco, a Tempura Shrimp Taco, and a Ceviche Taco. Sip the deliciously refreshing Hibiscus Strawberry Frose ($18) alongside the Coastal Taco Platter to feel like you are beachside in a coastal Mexican city with your toes in the sand.
BODEGA TAQUERIA Y TEQUILA
You can expect Bodega to go all the way out in a major way for Cinco de Mayo – all locations will have a variety of activities and entertainment taking place with different drink specials from Cazadores and Patron including Cazadores Draft Margarita $5 (until 5PM), Patron Silver Shot $5, Draft Beer $5, Patron Margarita $10, and Ranch Water $10. Specifically for Fort Lauderdale and Coconut Grove, themed dancers from Zhantra Entertainment will be dressed up in Cinco De Mayo themed and interacting with guests/performing from 11PM to 1AM.
Set to a backdrop of endless blue ocean and colorful, casually sophisticated décor, Miami’s only oceanfront, coastal Mexican restaurant, Cantina Beach sits in the heart of The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami’s pool-scape which overlooks the Atlantic. This Cinco de Mayo, Cantina Beach is going all out with live entertainment and a Cinco de Mayo Buffet featuring a Chips and Salsa Bar, Salads, Ceviche de Camaron (shrimp), a Mexican Street Corn Grill Station, Guajillo Honey Glazed Baby Back Ribs, Dos XX Braised Borracho Chicken, Fajitas Norteñas, Cazuela de Garbanzo Poblano, a Dessert Station with sweet treats like the Tequila infused Mexican Tres Leches, Abuelita Mousse Chocolate Cake, and Churros with Chocolate Chipotle Sauce.
The Beverage Station features Margaritas, Micheladas (beer), Tequila and Mezcal tasting, and Aguas frescas, while a Kids Buffet includes offerings such as Chicken Tenders, Fries, Cheese Quesadillas, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich. Priced $85++ per adult and $50++ per child. The Cinco de Mayo Buffet will take place on Friday, May 5th from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Tampa’s trendy Hyde Park Village, while indulging in Forbici’s Margarita Sicilia. The delicious concoction is made with: Corazon Reposado, blood orange liqueur, Amaretto, fresh lemon, and garnished with sea salt and cinnamon. The restaurant will offer it for the happy hour price - $8 - all day on May 5. Want to pregame the evening before? Try a Baby Yoda (The Force) – their cocktail special celebrating Star Wars. TROPICAL SMOKEHOUSE CINCO DE MAYO
Celebrate Cinco de Mayo Tropical Smokehouse style with Chef Rick’s Brisket Tacos ($5) and Mahi Tacos ($7) both served with pickled onions, avocado salsa on a house made soft tortilla. Tropical will also be serving up their famed Margaritas & Palomas ($8) all day. We couldn’t be more pleased that Cinco falls on a Friday!
