Breast Cancer Awareness Month Dinings

October is here, and it's that time of the year when we come together to raise awareness and support the fight against breast cancer.




In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Mandarin Oriental, Miami will offer a series of special initiatives aimed at raising awareness and funds for the fight against the disease. The luxury hotel is directing a portion of proceeds from several exclusive offerings available throughout the property to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. To set the stage, starting October 1st and throughout the month, the façade of Mandarin Oriental, Miami will glow in soft pink lights, symbolizing their support.

Offered exclusively throughout October, La Mar by Gastón Acurio’s specially crafted dish—

Pink Causa for a Cause—is priced at $38 and incorporates an exquisite blend of flavors and textures.

Executive Chef Diego Oka, known for his award-winning culinary expertise, has created this terrine of potato puree, artistically shaped as a ribbon and colored pink by the addition of beets. The artful dish includes decadent layers of crabmeat, sunchokes, Peruvian trout, shrimp cocktail, avocado, smoked trout roe, and creamy Huancaina sauce for diners to order and enjoy throughout the month. A percentage of proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.


MO Bar + Lounge, known for its elevated cocktail and culinary offerings located within the sleek lobby of the prestigious hotel, is also contributing to the cause with a

signature cocktail, the Pink Paloma.

This tantalizing drink ($22) is made with Patron Silver, lime and grapefruit juice, and house-made watermelon syrup. Elegantly served up in a martini glass, the cocktail is garnished with frozen watermelon and adorned with pink glitter and a pink salt rim. A percentage of proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.


For those with a sweet tooth, MO Bar + Lounge also introduces a special dessert—Elderflower Strawberry Cake—available exclusively throughout the month. Comprising layers of vanilla cream and strawberry compote, and imbued with elderflower syrup, this dessert is priced at $16. It is also available for in-room dining and poolside enjoyment. A percentage of proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.


Rounding out the month-long initiative is the “Inner Strength Treatment” at the Spa. This 80-minute session is specifically designed to help individuals ease physical tension and emotional anxiety, often experienced after stressful periods in one's life. This treatment offers a holistic approach to well-being, providing a much-needed reprieve for both body and mind. A percentage of proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.


All October long, Bodega will feature a special pink-themed 22 oz. XL Frozen

Margarita Cup ($14) in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Join 4 Rivers Smokehouse as they join AdventHealth’s PinkOut to save lives.

From October 2nd-28th, 4 Rivers will be offering Pink Nachos ($9.99) made with pink tortilla chips fried to order, with partial proceeds benefiting Advent Health for Women, which raises funds for breast cancer research. In addition, guests will have the opportunity to round up their in-store purchase to the nearest dollar in support of the cause. They will be offering a mouthwatering selection of pork-based dishes.

South Florida’s iconic all-day health-focused cafe Pura Vida is introducing a selection

of NEW menu items, now available at all Pura Vida locations



Available in-store or through the Pura Vida Miami app, Miami’s favorite all-day cafe has debuted three brand new menu items and brought back two house favorite treats to their wellness-driven menu.
