The Nationally Expanding, Fast-Casual Brand Introduces a New Way to Experience the Beloved Taqueria Including Self-Ordering Kiosks And A Communal Space With A Full-Service
Cocktail Bar; Plus, An Intimate Mezcaleria, New Cocktails And More
Bodega Taqueria y Tequila, the popular brand, known for its fast-casual taqueria and lively bar scene, is excited to announce that its Coral Gables location at 317 Miracle Mile is set to open in January 2024. This marks the brand's eighth establishment nationwide, and strengthens its foothold in South Florida as its sixth iteration. The Coral Gables outpost stands out as the brand's first hybrid concept in the region (having recently debuted in Chicago’s River North neighborhood), evolving from the original speakeasy-style lounge to a more casual, all-day neighborhood bar to appeal to the “City Beautiful” community. Additionally, the introduction of self-ordering kiosks will enhance the customer experience, focusing on more personalized service at the taqueria; meanwhile, the bar and mezcaleria are full service experiences.
The latest outpost will also debut a new cocktail menu, as well as a new mezcaleria menu, along with its popular food offerings. Featured daily programming will include Margarita Mondays with $5 frozen and draft house margaritas; Taco Tuesdays offering three for $11 classic tacos; Wine Wednesdays with half-off bottles of wine; Tap Thursdays when guests can enjoy $1 beer until the keg is tapped; and various weekend specials to support game-watching like $1 wings, $5 draft beer, bloody mary and michelada. The mezcaleria will host Flight Night and Mezcal Mondays, showcasing a wide array of new agave-based and non-agave cocktails, including the Millionaire Margarita. Additionally, guests can find rotating flights featuring lowland and highland tequilas; single village mezcals with paired garnishes; the introduction of eight specialty margaritas; three large format shareable cocktails; and two mocktails.
“Our new location on Miracle Mile is not just about bringing our renowned taqueria and spirited bar experience to a new locale; it's about embedding ourselves in the fabric of the neighborhood,” says Jared Galbut, CEO and Founder of Bodega Taqueria y Tequila.
Under the leadership of Galbut, Bodega Taqueria y Tequila has seen significant growth in recent years. Following the brand's expansion strategy, it recently opened two locations in Chicago and has signed additional leases in Washington D.C. The first Bodega Taqueria y Tequila opened in South Beach in 2014 and has since expanded across South Florida and beyond. The brand shows no signs of slowing down, with plans to double its footprint in the next two years. This includes additional locations in Downtown Miami at Natiivo Miami; Miami’s Wynwood Arts District and in Nashville, Tennessee.
