Alpareno Restaurant Group’s Ghee Indian Kitchen was awarded a second Bib Gourmand - a true reflection of the hard work, dedication and heart of the Alpareno team.
The announcement comes on the heels of a busy last week with participation in Formula 1 events and even serving food courtside during Game 4 at the Miami Heat Arena.
All of the excitement is nothing new for Niven and Mo. Most recently, the pair released their own Alpareno-inspired beer with Tripping Animals Brewery, dubbed The Forager. The hazy IPA boasts an epic can design with Niven and Mo pictured in animal form and tropical flavor notes that pair perfectly with dishes from Mamey, Orno and Ghee Indian Kitchen.
You may be wondering…What’s in the works as the duo continues to grow their culinary empire?
Seasonal New Menu: As the seasons change, so do the ingredients harvested at Rancho Patel, Chef Niven’s two-acre home and farm. Chef Niven chooses the fruits, vegetables and herbs for each season based on what he wants to grow and see in his restaurants, so with a new season comes new menu items at Orno and Mamey. Stand out new menu additions include: Carrot Parmesan Agnolotti at Orno, a Mango Farro Salad at Mamey and more.
The limited-edition release of a new tequila in partnership with Maestro Dobel: Alpareno Restaurant Group has developed a new tequila blend in partnership with Maestro Dobel, which will soon be available at restaurants Orno and Mamey at THesis Hotel Miami. The limited-edition tequila, a collaboration between Alpareno co-founders Chef Niven Patel and restaurateur Mohamed “Mo” Alkassar and Maestro Dobel’s very own Maestro Tequilero, will debut summer 2023.
New Restaurant Concept: This summer, Chef Niven will be launching their new concept, Erba, in Coral Gables
Sundays at the Rancho: This fall, Chef Niven’s hit dinner series Sundays at the Rancho at Rancho Patel will return for the following dates: November 5th; December 3rd; January 14th; February 4th; March 3rd; April 7th.
