Ultra Music Festival is back in a big way for its 25th anniversary, and the Phase 1 lineup has already set the stage for an unforgettable celebration. Taking place from March 28-30, 2025, at Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami, this year’s event promises historic performances,
mind-blowing debuts, and next-level artistry.
One of the festival’s most exciting announcements is the world-exclusive Anyma B2B Solomun performance, a never-before-seen collaboration that will fuse cutting-edge audiovisual artistry with Solomun’s technical brilliance. Attendees can expect a truly immersive experience, complete with mesmerizing visual installations and futuristic stage design.
But that’s just the beginning—Ultra 2025 will also present the world-debut deadmau5 B2B Pendulum DJ set, alongside deadmau5’s inaugural ‘retro5pective set’ and a special Pendulum live performance.
These headlining acts are just a taste of what’s to come, with the festival offering a packed lineup of electronic music superstars. Fans can also look forward to performances by Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Tiësto, Alesso, and Afrojack, among others.
For the underground music lovers, Carl Cox will return to the iconic RESISTANCE MegaStructure, debuting a brand-new live show, while Richie Hawtin will bring his revolutionary ‘DEX EFX X0X’ performance to Ultra for the first time. RESISTANCE will feature a stellar lineup of techno and house heavyweights like Adam Beyer, Charlotte de Witte, Boris Brejcha, and many more, alongside first-time performances from rising stars like 999999999 and I Hate Models.
In addition, Ultra will unveil its first-ever psytrance stage, curated by Vini Vici’s Alteza Records, making this year’s festival even more diverse and groundbreaking. A State of Trance (ASOT) and Dirty Workz will also host stage takeovers, adding to the festival’s already stacked variety of sounds.
Ultra’s 25th anniversary is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated events of the year. With its iconic lineup, mind-bending performances, and state-of-the-art production, this milestone edition will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Whether you’re a longtime fan of the festival or a first-time attendee, this is a celebration you won’t want to miss.
Soon after announcing the historic Anyma b2b Solomun set, Ultra unveiled even more exciting Solomun news: the Croatian DJ will bring his Diynamic record label to the festival for the very first time, hosting an exclusive stage takeover at the RESISTANCE MegaStructure. Diynamic’s debut Ultra Music Festival takeover will feature a solo headlining set from Solomun himself, as well as first-time festival performances from esteemed artists like English electronic experimentalism pioneer Four Tet, Dutch tech-house superstar Mau P and more.
Ultra’s 25th anniversary celebration wouldn’t be complete without its most iconic figure, Carl Cox, who will be debuting his brand-new Live Show in his headlining set at the RESISTANCE MegaStructure. The legendary British DJ and producer has been a cornerstone of the festival since DJing at the event’s third edition back in 2001, shaping Ultra’s legacy with every performance. In 2005, Ultra broke ground by inviting Cox to curate his very own stage, which started as a modest tent dubbed‘Carl Cox & Friends.’ Over the last two decades, that humble tent has evolved into the world-famous RESISTANCE MegaStructure, helping to solidify Ultra Music Festival as the premier tastemakers for not only stadium-smashing, Main Stagesuperstars, but also for underground house and techno masters.
Although Cox has curated numerous stage takeovers at Ultra over the years, the 2025 festival will see the beloved artist bring his globe-trotting ‘Carl Cox Invites’brand to the event for the very first time. Taking over the RESISTANCE MegaStructure, ‘Carl Cox Invites’ revolves around Cox's reputation for bringing together artists who are pushing the boundaries of electronic music, showcasing the underground’s most in-demand talents alongside emerging house and techno stars. Anchored by the debut of Carl Cox’s brand-new Live Show, the ‘Carl Cox Invites’stage takeover will feature a plethora of live performances from house and techno heavyweights.
