The Deck at Island Gardens, Miami's premier waterfront restaurant and lounge, is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated reopening with a dynamic new menu and weekly happenings for 2024. Inspired by its electrifying outdoor ambiance and unparalleled location along Miami's stunning waterfront, The Deck invites guests to embark on a culinary journey curated by
acclaimed Executive Chef Jean Pierre Palacio.
Chef Palacio's carefully crafted menu showcases exciting new flavors that transport guests on a culinary journey around the coasts of the Mediterranean. From fresh seafood sourced along the Greek coast to meat dishes reminiscent of the French Riviera and homemade pastas that take us back to Italy, each dish reflects the Chef's commitment to culinary excellence and authenticity. The Deck’s new menu promises an unforgettable dining experience to match the iconic waterfront views of its location showcasing unparalleled panoramic views of Biscayne Bay and Downtown Miami’s skyline.
Highlights from the revamped menu include signature dishes, such as the Gnocchi Alla Romana with parmigiano fondue and fresh sage; Grilled Lamb Chops with pickled apple carpaccio and mint demi-glace; and the distinguished Filet Mignon Rossini with roasted foie gras, brioche toast, and burgundy truffle reduction.
Appetizers are newly divided into cold and hot, featuring delights such as the Ahi Tuna Tartare with capers, shallots, baby arugula, and avocado. The raw bar selection has been expanded to include a larger variety of Chilled Seafood, including Ceviche of the Day and Alaskan King Crab. Grains are now made authentically in-house featuring the latest best seller Ravioli Caio E “Pere" with Bartlett pear, Pecorino Romano and fresh sage. The pizzettes have taken a new Neapolitan inspiration by transforming into brick oven pies as seen with the Braised Oxtail and Truffle & Pear. New desserts include Lychee Sorbet and St. Honoré, a buttery puff pastry with hazelnut custard which will add a sweet finale to the culinary journey.
Complementing the new dinner menu, the chic destination is elevating its beloved high-energy atmosphere with exciting programming additions, including the eagerly anticipated Sunset Hour Happy Hour and Thursday Ladies Night. Late night dinner party crowds can expect to see the signature weekend shows filled with interactive entertainment such as lively fire dancers, rhythmic drums, live instruments and DJ sets.

Every Day Happy Hour, Sunset Hour - Introducing The Deck at Island Gardens’ New Sunset Hour, where the beauty of Miami's skyline meets waterfront bliss. Everyday from 5-7 p.m., savor the best sunset views in Miami with $10 glasses of select signature cocktails, rosé, house wine, and bubbly as the sun sets over the water. Foodies can delight in $2 Oysters and $10 Sunset Bites from the kitchen, including Margherita Pizzette, Truffle Fries, Chicken Lollipops and Crispy Salmon Bites.
Taste of the World Series - Taste of Spain: On Thursdays, be transported to a world an ocean away with the brand new Taste of the World series, debuting with the fabulous Taste of Spain. Dine on a delectable multi-course menu featuring Spanish Salad, Seafood Paella, a variety of tasteful tapas, like Galician Octopus and Fondant Idiazabal, and a Basque Cheesecake to close, guaranteed to bring Spanish flavors to Miami’s shores.
Thursday Ladies Night: Every Thursday at the bar from 9 p.m. to close, ladies looking for a fun girls’ night can visit The Deck at Island Gardens for a complimentary glass of bubbly and $10 Lychee Martinis. Sunday Brunch Buffet: Every Sunday, from noon to 5 p.m., guests can enjoy the highly anticipated return of The Deck’s extraordinary Brunch Buffet. Discover an opulent spread featuring a delectable array of stations, now with an all new sushi bar. Signature Brunch Buffet favorites include carving stations for seafood, grilled meats, vibrant salads and breakfast favorites, as well as divine homemade desserts prepared to enchant each guest’s taste buds. As the sun starts to set, guests can seamlessly transition into a sunset soirée; a magical finale to Sunday Brunch with live music, interactive performers, craft cocktails and weekly bottle specials.
