Boulud Sud Partners with Cinco Jotas and Montecillo Wines for One-of-a-Kind Culinary Experience
Evening will feature a member of the Osborne family explaining the 144 year-old, globally-acclaimed company’s unique approach to ibérico pork products, paired with Bodega Montecillo’s rich
history as the third winery established in Rioja, in 1870
WHAT: Once-of-a-kind evening featuring Boulud Sud parntering with Spain’s Cinco Jotas ibérico pork products and Montecillo wines for a five-course, ham-based cullinary experience, with appropriate wine pairings. The menu features :
First Course – Fresh shucked Oysters with 5jotas jamon Iberic dressing and caviar
Second Course – Grilled Presa iberico with sweet potato puree, glazed apple chips, turnip confit, sherry pork glaze
Third Course – Solomillo Beef Wellington filled with mushroom duxelles, wrapped in 5 jotas paleta. Served with fondant potatoes, seared king trumpet mushrooms, and smoked pearl onions with pork jus
Fourth Course – Pluma Iberic paella with apple aioli, and caramelized apples
Fifth Course – Chef’s Dessert.
WHO: Boulud Sud’s unprecedented team of chefs, Cinco Jotas hams, and a special guest from Cinco Jota’s Osborne family from the town of Jabugo in North Central Spain, where the hams have been a family mainstay since 1879.
