The Great Elephant Migration: LOVE BRAND & Co.

Miami welcomes a remarkable exhibition of 100 life-sized Indian elephant sculptures as part of The Great Elephant Migration. This captivating initiative, supported by British beachwear brand LOVE BRAND & Co., raises awareness for peaceful human-wildlife coexistence.


Arriving in Miami Beach on November 22, the elephants bring with them a story of conservation and artistry. Alongside the exhibition, LOVE BRAND & Co. introduces a capsule collection featuring linens, swimwear crafted from recycled plastic, and accessories, with 50% of proceeds supporting elephant conservation. It’s a chance to embrace eco-conscious fashion while supporting a vital cause.


 

Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club: ‘Rhapsody for a Beloved World’

Location: Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club, Miami Beach



In collaboration with the City of Miami Beach and the No Vacancy initiative, the Cadillac Hotel hosts acclaimed artist Marielle Plaisir and her compelling piece, “Rhapsody for a Beloved World.” Through vibrant Caribbean-inspired imagery and salvaged photographs, Plaisir explores themes of resilience, unity, and identity.


The hotel’s iconic art deco setting provides the perfect backdrop for this interdisciplinary masterpiece, sparking dialogue on shared humanity and connection.


 

Cartier Trinity 100 Pop-Up

Location: 23 NE 41st St., Miami Design District



Dates: December 4–8, 2024Cartier’s Trinity 100 Pop-Up celebrates the centennial of its iconic Trinity collection. This immersive experience features five interactive spaces exploring the collection's history and cultural impact, from Jean Cocteau’s signature pinky rings to Cartier's modern masterpieces.


Visitors can reserve a complimentary timeslot to explore the Maison’s archive, admire exclusive jewelry designs, and preview the Trinity novelties launching globally in 2025. It’s a must-visit for lovers of timeless elegance.


 

The Spanish Moss Sanctuary by Plant The Future

Location: Miami Beach Convention Center

Dates: December 4–8, 2024



Plant The Future, a biophilic art and design studio, transforms Art Basel into a serene oasis with “The Spanish Moss Sanctuary.” This live plant installation features floating gardens of Spanish moss, paired with ceramic seating resembling river stones. It offers visitors a tranquil space to reflect and reconnect with nature amidst the bustling energy of the fair.


 

Jayne Pierson’s Myth-Inspired Fashion Show

Location: Sagamore Hotel

Date: December 7, 2024, at 5:30



PMFashion meets mythology in Jayne Pierson’s U.S. debut with her “Gates of Annwn” collection. Presented in collaboration with Cymru Wales, this spectacular show blends Celtic lore with sustainable high fashion. Pierson’s designs, celebrated for their timeless elegance, take center stage at the Sagamore Hotel, inviting guests to journey through ancient Welsh myths reimagined for modern times.

 



Eternal Creations: Michelangelo’s Masterpieces Cast in Silver

Location:  Sagamore Hotel





In partnership with BitBasel MOA Miami and Treasure Investment Corporation, the Sagamore Hotel proudly presents Eternal Creations, a stunning collection of seven pure silver casts of Michelangelo’s most famous sculptures.


These one-of-a-kind masterpieces were meticulously crafted using the original molds from the Fonderia Artistica Ferdinando Marinelli in Florence, ensuring an unparalleled connection to the Renaissance master’s work.


Key highlights of the exhibition include:

  • The Pietà: A 1-of-1 pure silver cast, measuring 69x68x42 inches, and the largest pure silver sculpture ever created.

  • Silver David: A 6-foot-tall partial cast of the renowned 17-foot statue, capturing the strength and idealized beauty of the human form.

  • Madonna of the Stairs and Battle of the Centaurs: Two intricate silver sculptures showcasing Michelangelo’s skill and emotional depth.

  • Pitti Tondo and Taddei Tondo: Tender depictions of the Madonna, child, and infant Saint John, rendered in exquisite detail.

  • Belvedere Torso: A historical fragment celebrated for its connection to classical antiquity and Michelangelo’s inspiration.


These historic pieces will be unveiled for the first time, offering a rare and transformative experience for art lovers during Art Basel.
