The Art Plug Power House experiential art fair is returned for Year II during Miami Art Week 2019, at The Citadel! This was not your average art fair. Marcel Katz (aka The Art Plug) created The Power House as a conceptual platform to make art approachable, edgy, fun and most importantly – accessible to the masses. This year, the weekend long event pushed through even bigger boundaries and artistic limits, merging fine art with interactive installations, artistic stunts and live extreme sports performances with world-renowned stuntmen, giving Basel-goers an extremely unique entertainment-driven experience during the busiest art week in the country. 

Marcel Katz kicked off The Art Plug Power House, Miami Art Week takeover, with an epic action-packed ‘Art Bikes On A Roof’ event on the rooftop of the Museum Garage in the Design District. This performance art piece, curated by Marcel Katz and Hayes Wheelless, marked the first rooftop freestyle motocross demo show in history featuring Red Bull athlete and performance artists on Art Bikes. Diplo attended The Art Plug Power House kickoff event with Red Bull at the Museum Garage in the Design District on Thursday, December 5th, 2019.
