Rocco Ritchie Exhibition

“Pack a Punch” will feature 10 new paintings by the London-based artist, and will only be on view April 11 by appointment only, at 30 NE 40 St in the Miami Design District.

Born in Los Angeles in 2000, Rocco Ritchie is one of the most exciting up and coming artists of his generation. He studied at Central Saint Martins and the Royal Drawing School in London, where he currently lives and works. In a series of new works, Rocco broadens his exploration of the human figure, drawing from the great tradition of British painters that preceded him, including Lucian Freud, Paula Rego and Francis Bacon. This presentation follows Rocco’s exhibition “Lovers and Enemies”, where he showed portraits of the artist’s friends and family, and was curated by David Dawson, formerly Lucien Freud’s studio manager.

Rocco grew up surrounded by the creative energy embedded in him by his parents, Madonna and Guy Ritchie. His work is in the personal collections of Stella McCartney, Donatella Versace, and Lorcan O’Neill, among other renown European collections, and his work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, Hong Kong, Forbes, and Artnet News.
