The Path Unknown
To be where I’m at today running two businesses in the yoga industry, is beyond a dream. With a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Administration and an MBA, I did not think this is where life would
I first started with Pilates about 10 years ago, and soon after found yoga and the opportunities just started flowing in. My old yoga studio is where I learned to teach powerfully, how to facilitate teacher trainings, and where Yogalete (then just referred to as Yoga for Athletes) was born.
After 5 years, that studio was no longer in alignment with what I wanted to stand for in my life. Coincidentally, neither was my marriage. Within a couple of days, I resigned from my yoga studio and asked for a divorce making it the most difficult week of my life. While working through all of the emotions that came with both of those decisions, I quickly moved into action. I worked with a branding company to give my yoga for athletes program a name, logo, and vision which is now known as Yogalete.
I wanted a new yoga home and knew I didn’t want to just go anywhere, I wanted to be in creation of something special and meaningful. Fast forward through many months of ups, downs, uncertainty, excitement, and everything else, my partner, Melissa Echeverria, myself, along with our amazing team/family,opened the doors to our new yoga home, Casa Vinyasa.
With our studio located in the heart of South Miami, we have not stopped smiling (and working) to make our home as welcoming and empowering as possible. This journey has been a wild ride, and if I had to do it all over again I would in a heartbeat.
My story has taught me to go with the flow, trust the process, listen to my intuition, and to have faith in myself and in God. If you are looking for a place to grow and discover what’s possible in your life, come to Casa Vinyasa and find yourself at home.
