Words / Joseph Fennell
I had always been a crafty person, but didn’t realize how much until I started to dabble in some jewelry making five years ago. It all started with rings made from coins then escalated to organic materials such as bone, metals and predominantly gems.
There are brief moments when the inspiration escapes me, but getting lost in the streets of Miami makes things click, allowing the creativity to flood back into me. I pour a lot of my current emotions in my jewelry in hopes that it will put a smile on someone's face.
Watching someone select a piece of mine jewelry is the most satisfying part because that is the moment I realize they appreciate the intricate work put into my designs.
