Best Cuban Sandwich in Miami 2021
A delicious Cuban sandwich is a favorite among South Floridians. What's not to like about ham, roasted pork, Swiss cheese, mustard, and pickles heated between crispy Cuban bread? However, there are a lot of other
"Cuban" sandwiches that are equally delicious.
Between two triangular slices of pressed Cuban bread, ham, roast pig, pickles, mustard, and Swiss cheese. Because these are the five building blocks of Miami's most renowned sandwich: the Cuban sandwich, Miamians know those ingredients
as well as their social security numbers or the chorus to Pitbull's "Culo."
Enriqueta's Sandwich Shop
It's easy to write off this always-bustling Wynwood hangout as inauthentic or commercial. What do hipsters think about Cuban cuisine? It turns out they know quite a bit. Despite the crowds, Enriqueta's sandwiches are still created to order—and quickly! The best sandwich is still the original: It's a little too cheesy and pickle-y for us, but the flavours are spot on. For something truly decadent, get the Doble or the Preparado (with two croquetas stuffed inside).
With its low-calorie menu called La Flaca ('the slender girl' in English) and Cuban twists on classic American meals like Cobb salad and different flatbreads, this local Cuban chain appeals to a younger population. On the other hand, its Cuban sandwich hasn't been tampered with; it's simple and authentic. If you want it delivered, the second half will be wrapped in aluminum foil to keep it warm while you finish the gigantic sandwich.
It bills itself as the world's most famous Cuban restaurant, with the Cubano being the most popular item on the menu. The original (a somewhat larger variant is available) passed all of the fundamental criteria: it was toasted, loaded with the proper contents, and split perfectly in half. We're here for the extra mustard and juicy pork fat holding it all together, even if it's a drippy mess.
